A letter from Florida...

It seems like Bette Lou was out and about again! Got a nice letter from her and great pictures from Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens ( http://www.cedarlakeswoodsandgarden.com/ ) Here's what she wrote:

Dear Belinda,

Just came back from a visit to Florida and, of course, I have pictures to share. Shirley (one of your previous "bakers" for the Bakeless Bakesale) and I went to Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens in Williston, Florida. The Gardens are built on a Lime Rock Quarry. It's a gorgeous garden paradise with flowers, swans and GIANT koi (see picture!) We started our hike at the top of the quarry, wended our way down the paths to the lake then came back up to the rim and out. A lovely, leisurely hike that lasted a couple of hours. It might not have been the AT, but I'll tell you -- as ardent a gardner that Grandma Gatewood was, I KNOW she would have loved this!
